Charities and Organisations We Regularly Support

As aparish we give 10% of our income split across 6 charities, some close to home and some further afield. Currently they are:

  • FISH (Friends in St Helier) - providing meals and activities for older people in St Helier
  • Christian Care - providing support for people on low incomes in Merton, including refugees and asylum seekers.
  • Sutton Schoolswork - our local Christian schoolswork charity, who aim to increase knowledge and understanding of the Christian faith, and support students in their social, moral, spiritual and cultural development.
  • Grassroots Trust - a charity that provides relief from poverty across the world, and we particularly support the child sponsorship programme.
  • Anne Moore in Kisiizi Hospital, Uganda, with CMS.
  • Southwark Diocese Zimbabwe Link - a two-way partnership between the Croydon Episcopal Area of Southwark Diocese, and the Anglican Diocese of Central Zimbabwe.

We also actively support:

  • Sutton Foodbank - they are based in Bishop Andrewes' on a Thursday from 12-2pm.
